Description: BBP is thrilled to participate this year as firs t-timers! Mark Dion’s Invasive Plant Eradication Unit will be making an appearance to showcase those important native plants and nasty invasive species that live along Houston’s historic waterway. Thanks to the Houston Arts Alliance, co-sponsor of this environmental art project.

Be on the lookout for car #34 and stop by during the art car line-up from 11am-1pm as we give out native plant seeds and our own Buffalo Bayou field guide .

The Art Car Parade runs along Allen Parkway, from Waugh Drive to Bagby Street along Buffalo Bayou!

It is the largest Art Car Parade in the world! Art Car Weekend is the Orange Show’s largest annual outreach program, a vehicle for the message that art is an integral part of everyone’s everyday life.
Part folk art, part fine art, part wholly artistic expression of every kind, entirely monumental and thoroughly spectacular!
