This outing will have both a car camping and a backpacking component. The park is an outstanding example of Edwards Plateau flora and fauna. It is a combination of steep, rugged limestone canyons, springs, plateau grasslands, wooded slopes, and clear streams. The park is noted for a large, isolated stand of uncommon Uvalde Bigtooth Maple. Leaders of the backpacking group are Gus Cei and Jake Anderson. Leaders of the car camping group are Frank Blake and Lorraine Gibson.
