HELP PLAN RACHEL CARSON CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

The nation will celebrate the 100th birthday of Rachel Carson, America’s pioneer of the modern environmental movement and author of the landmark book, Silent Spring, on May 27, 2007. Texans for Alternatives to Pesticides is organizing a tribute to Miss Carson. Individuals and groups that are interested in partnering with TAP for the event are invited to a planning meeting at 11:30 am on Wednesday, Jan 11. The meeting will be in the CEC Meeting Room on the second floor at 3015 Richmond. TAP will provide organic soup and salad for lunch.
