Description: This weekend car camping outing will visit Mission Tejas SP and
nearby Caddoan Mounds State Historic Site. Mission Tejas SP was
built in 1934 by the CCC, and features a representation of Mission San
Francisco de los Tejas, the first Spanish mission in Texas. Caddoan
Mounds is a prehistoric village and ceremonial center, dating before
European exploration. This outing is family friendly and well behaved
dogs are ok with permission of the leader. For more details and to sign
