Description: Notice is hereby given that the Houston‐Galveston Area Council (H‐GAC) is seeking input on the draft Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan 2011 Update. The draft Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan 2011 Update covers Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Liberty, Montgomery, Walker and Waller counties and the majority of cities therein. Written and oral comments regarding the draft Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan 2011 Update will be taken at one public hearing scheduled on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Houston‐Galveston Area Council, located at 3555 Timmons Lane, Houston, TX 77027, 2nd floor, Room A.

The draft Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan 2011 Update will be posted on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 by 6:00 p.m. on the Internet website http://www.h‐gac.com/hazmap. A hard copy of the draft Regional
Hazard Mitigation Plan 2011 Update will be made available for public inspection and comment at the H‐GAC reception area at 3555 Timmons, Suite 120, Houston, TX 77027 throughout the comment period.
