OVERVIEW: Das Haus and the City of Houston´s Green Building Resource Center is partnering with forGreen Marketing & Design to proudly host the November B2G (Business-2-Green) Professional Network event on November 15 from 5-8 pm (extended hours). The event topic is “Sustainable Construction and Solar Energy” with guest speakers Jim Waller of Solaris Homes (developer & builder of affordable, energy-efficient homes & condominiums) and Meredith Marsh with Das Haus initiative (the traveling pavilion showcasing the latest concepts for energy efficiency and renewable energy in Germany that has been honored to be showcased in front of the Houston Permit Building from November 8-17). In between networking and enjoying fine hor d´oeuvres and drinks by Melange, attendees will be able to will peruse and interact with the many displays in the Green Building Resource Center to learn about green building. In addition, professionally guided tours will take place of the Das Haus pavilion that is currently in Houston and traveling throughout the United States now until the end of 2012.
