Description: Designed for preschool and early childhood teachers, aligned with the National Association for the Education of Young Children Standards and the Head Start Domains. *Project Wild’s Growing Up Wild combines with Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood for a day of exploration and fun but also for a day for learning how to use two
premier teaching resources that have been designed specifically for young learners. * *Activities will take teachers outside to learn how to combine nature and these resources to teach skills and to explore the natural world. Teachers will leave with two certificates and two incredible books –
teachers will also leave with projects that can be used in their next classes (bring a box to carry them home).
Registration is $40 and it provides educational snacks, books, and resources for both programs. Bring a brown bag lunch and expect to work through lunch. Dress for the weather – you will be going outside (bring insect repellent). Class size is limited. Register by mail. Send a check to The Mercer Society, 22306 Aldine Westfield, Humble, TX 77338.
