AUSTIN COMPANY SEEKS CONSULTANT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNICATIONS

Dell Computer is seeking a consultant to work with a variety of internal clients to help support Dell’s global public affairs and sustainability programs. This work includes creating a variety of communications materials, working with media, and counseling and preparing executive-level spokespeople. Among other issues, the candidate will assist in communications related to the environmental and social impacts of company products, operations, and activities, and will assist in drafting company policies and promoting employee engagement around energy policy, chemical usage, and emerging issues such as obesity, digital inclusion, and freedom of association. Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or related field, minimum of 5-7 years communications experience, and extensive media relations experience is desired. See Dell’s website.
