Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church invites you to a series of web meetings to talk about creation.  Planned as a regular, ongoing monthly series normally held the last Sunday of each month (except December), conversations will be on a variety of topics, both purely environmental as well as theological.

The next web meeting will take place on Sunday, Mar. 13 at 6 p.m.  Dr. Chris Gabler, an assistant professor in the School of Earth, Environmental and Marine Sciences.at the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley, will speak on The State of the Plants. After his presentation, there will be time for questions/discussion.  Professor Gabler is a plant community ecologist whose research focuses on three aspects of global change — habitat loss, invasive species, and climate change. His work aims not only to understand these changes, but also to develop ways that we can mitigate or reverse their impacts.  If you would like to join this conversation, contact Lisa at gcs.lrc@gmail.com to receive an invitation to the talk.
