  1. Plant A Tree Program. The Odwalla Juice Company is asking residents to take 30 seconds to plant a tree online in their home state. The company is donating $100,000 to plant trees in the United States this year. For every virtual tree planted, Odwalla donates $1 to plant real trees in state parks.   2. Trinity River Refuge Proposed Paving Project. Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge has proposed to pave the existing dirt road (1.1 miles) and parking lots at the Champion Lake Public Use Area at the end of CR 417, which is becoming increasingly popular with the public. The Trinity River Refuge has asked for written comments to be sent to Refuge Manager, Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge, PO Box 10015, Liberty, TX 77575 or emailed to stuart_marcus@fws.gov by June 30, 2011.
  3. United Way of Greater Houston Community Building Grant. The United Way of Greater Houston is making small grants ($500-5,000) available for nonprofit organizations located and serving clients in our four-county service area (Harris, Ft.
