H-GAC’s Pedestrian-Bicyclist Program is hosting a workshop, Working with TxDOT to Implement Pedestrian/Bicycle Improvements: Projects, Process, and People, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 18, in H-GAC Conference Room B, Second Floor.
Representatives from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will provide information on a variety of issues related to pedestrian and bicycle planning in the region, such as:

  • How TxDOT plans for pedestrians and cyclists
  • Proposed and completed pedestrian/bicycle projects sponsored by TxDOT
  • Tips on navigating TxDOT’s funding and contracting processes
  • TxDOT representatives working in communities
