Description: The Houston Food Policy Workgroup is an ad hoc group interested in issues of local food in the Houston area foodshed.
The mission of the Houston Food Policy Workgroup is to nurture the
growth of a sustainable local food system, accessible to all, through
education, collaboration, communication, and creation of a food
council for the Houston region.

Alliance (FARFA) concerning pending legislation affecting local food,
including fair agricultural valuation, off-farm sales of raw milk,
farmers market regulations, cottage foods, and more
Discussion of next steps: letter writing, calling your legislators, etc.
