Description: Wallisville Lake Project. Located east of Houston about 40 miles from the Arboretum, the project contains over 23,000 acres of land on either side of the Trinity River from below I-10 to just south of Moss Bluff. The land is mostly wetlands. There are six parks in the
project including Cedar Hill Park and Hugo Point, where you can view the
numerous wetland flowers, sedges, rushes, and grasses.

Please wear appropriate footwear for walking through wet or dry fields, bring drinking water, bug spray, and a lunch if you like.
