1. CompuCycle received R2 certification. CompuCycle is Houston’s first and only electronic recycling company to receive Responsible Recycling (R2) certification, the only EPA accredited certification for electronic waste recycling. CompuCycle provides convenient pick-up, data destruction, inventory tracking, value for working computers, and compliant recycling of non-working electronics. 2. Travis PTA Environmental Night. The Travis PTA is hosting an environmental night on Tuesday, April 12 at 6:00 pm at the school in the Woodland Heights (3311 Beauchamp). The organizers are looking for people/organizations to host tables with pamphlets, posters, and any information on environmental topics (recycling, alternative and renewable energy, green buildings, clean air, clean water, wetlands, etc.) For more information, contact Karly Gibbs at 713-880-8002.
