Description: Get a head start on becoming a vet and have a tail wagging good time! Come out to the Children’s Museum of Houston for an interactive demo which will show you about the responsibilities that come with owning a pet.

The FutureVet program was created to make it easy and fun for children and young adults to learn more about pet healthcare and what it takes to become a vet. FutureVet toolkits make it easy for pet healthcare professionals to educate children about a veterinary career in an interactive and entertaining way.

This multi-part show-and-tell will be conducted with the purpose of teaching you the basics of veterinary medicine. Topics included are meeting the vet, what pets need, pet examination and being a responsible pet owner. You will even get a treat at the end of the presentation – your own diploma and goodie bag!
