Bayou Preservation Association seeks Watershed Stewards (4 positions)

Bayou Preservation and partners are seeking four Watershed Stewards to support Houston’s bayous and its resource-limited communities. Stewards will collaborate with local nonprofits to plan volunteer events, lead outreach activities, and share educational resources about watershed health and community resilience.

environmental outreach, event support, and conservation
education, along with opportunities for professional
training and networking.

Stewards work 20–30 hours a week for 6 months, including 8 weeks of training interspersed during
the position timeline, earning $14 an hour while gaining hands-on experience in conservation, community outreach, and environmental education.
