Houston City Council Agenda- February 15 & 16, 2022

The city will consider the following agenda items at the Houston City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 15 (public meeting) and Wednesday, February 16 (council meeting) in the City Hall Chamber. The agenda includes items on groundwater improvements, a segregated account for the Texas Water Development Board grant, bridge replacements, and contracts for the Storm Water Action Team.

Consent Agenda Items

Agenda Item 2 is a contract with Angel Brothers Enterprises, LTD for city wide overlay package. The contract amounts to $3M.

Agenda Item 3 is for a final contract with T Construction for wastewater collection system rehabilitation and renewal.

Agenda Item 4 is a contract with LEM Construction for groundwater facility improvements amounting to $5 M.

Agenda Item 8 is the approval of the Texas Water Development Board grant. This will disperse proceeds received from the Texas Water Development Board under a grant awarded to the City of Houston.

Agenda Item 9 approves the creation of a segregated account to place grant proceeds from Texas Water Development Board Grant in order to keep it separate from the general funds.

Agenda Item 21 approves an agreement with Texas A&M Engineering station for energy efficiency upgrades at various city facilities.

Agenda Item 22 is an agreement with Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station for energy services amounting to $165 K.

Agenda Item 23 consents to the creation of Harris County Municipal Utility District NO.524 containing 990 acres of land.

Agenda Item 25 authorizes a funding agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for Bridge replacement, for Campbell Road, District A.

Agenda Item 26 approves an advance funding agreement with The Texas Department of Transportation for Bridge replacement at Enid Street at Little White Oak Bayou.

Agenda Item 27 agreement with Texas Department of Transportation for Bridge replacement, Lockwood Drive Pacific Railroad at Liberty Road.

Agenda Item 28 agreement with Texas Department of Transportation for Bridge replacement, South Braeswood Boulevard.

Agenda Item 30 contract with R.G. Miller Engineering Inc for FY2021 Storm Water Action Team drainage rehabilitation design.

Agenda Item 32 appropriates $3.8 M out of the drainage fund to DL Glover for the FY2022 Drainage Rehabilitation Storm Water Action Team (SWAT).
