CEC Welcomes Chiamaka Chukwu as an Environmental Policy Intern

Chiamaka is currently a senior at the University of Houston majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Political Science. She is passionate about environmental equity and creating a more just world.

At UH, Chiamaka has strived to advocate for students’ needs and bring about positive change. She is currently the Chief Election Commissioner for the Student Government Association and President of Period at UH.

Upon graduating this spring, Chiamaka plans to attend law school, earn a Masters in Public Policy, or both. She is elated to join and help CEC in its mission to build awareness and stimulate discussion about environmental issues.
