Houston City Council Agenda – October 13, 2020

The city will consider the following agenda items at the Houston City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2020, which will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams at 1:30 PM. Public comment will be allowed Tuesday, October 13, 2020 by teleconference. This meeting will cover topics such as Robotic Sewer Inspection, Hurricane Harvey Disaster Recovery Services, a new solid waste management plan and contract, and further delay of a City Ordinance attempting to make parking in Dedicated Bicycle Lanes unlawful.

  • Agenda Item 2 is a recommendation from the Director of Houston Public Works for payment of $1,218,374 to the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District for Groundwater Over Conversion Credits – Enterprise Fund.
  • Agenda Item 4 is a recommendation from the Director of Houston Public Works for approval of final contract amount of $1,977,349 and acceptance of work on contract with CSI Consolidated, LLC dba Clea Serve, LLC for Large Diameter Sanitary Sewer Inspection Robotic Technology.
  • Agenda Item 8 is an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2018-894 to decrease the maximum contract amount of agreement for Outreach, Intake and Case Management Services between City of Houston and ICF Incorporated LLC, for Hurricane Harvey Disaster Recovery Services.
  • Agenda Item 20 is an ordinance granting to Federal Maintenance Services, Inc, a Texas Corporation, the right, privilege, and franchise to collect, haul, and transport solid waste and industrial waste from commercial properties located within the City of Houston, Texas; providing for related terms and conditions.
  • Agenda Item 21 is a recommendation from the City Attorney to deposit the amount of the Award of Special Commissioners into the registry of the Court associated with the eminent domain proceedings for acquisition of the Westridge Regional Lift Station Construction Project.
  • Agenda Items 22 and 23 are a motion and ordinance to amend Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances to add new section 26-100 relating to On-Street Parking Restriction Dedicated Bicycle Lanes. This ordinance was also present on the October 7, 2020 meeting, and has been delayed.
