CEC Welcomes Shari Austin as a Media and Production Intern

Shari Austin is a senior at the University of Houston who is majoring in Media Production and minoring in African American Studies. She is set to graduate in the Spring of 2021 and hopes to one day become a renowned film producer.

Shari is passionate about bringing stories to life about African Americans as well as helping the African American community obtain racial, environmental, economic, political and social justice. She enjoys doing this through a camera lens.

Shari looks forward to joining the CEC internship team and gaining more knowledge and experience to help make the community a better place.
