Houston City Council Agenda – March 27, 2018
This city considered the following agenda items at the March 27, 2018, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include contracts to clean sanitary sewers and haul waste in the city of Houston.
20: Over $1 million from the Water & Sewer System will be awarded to Specialized Maintenance Services for cleaning sanitary sewers. The purpose is to reduce overflow from the sewers. In addition, they will inspect to see which sewer lines need repair.
21: Over $3.6 million from the Water & Sewer System will be awarded to Quadex Lining Systems, LLC for cleaning sanitary sewers. The purpose is to reduce overflow from the sewers. In addition, they will inspect to see which sewer lines need repair.
23: Over $2.7 million from the Water & Sewer System will be awarded to Vaught Services, LLC for cleaning sanitary sewers. The purpose is to reduce overflow from the sewers. In addition, they will inspect to see which sewer lines need repair.
24-35: The following entities are given the right to collect, haul, and transport solid and industrial waste from commercial properties within the city of Houston.
