Regulation and Neighborhood Affairs Committee Agenda – Houston City Council – 3/21/18

The Regulation and Neighborhood Affairs Committee called a special joint meeting with Transportation Technology and Infrastructure committee to considered the following agenda items at the March 21, 2018, meeting. The agenda items include a proposal to protect properties that may be affected in a 500 year flood plan, as current building codes are only protected for a 100 year flood plan. Committee Overview

The Regulation and Neighborhood Affairs (RNA) Committee considers policies and regulations that protect and promote strong, vibrant neighborhoods and encourage the positive development of communities. The committee oversees the Department of Neighborhoods, Administration and Regulatory Affairs, and the Solid Waste Management Department. More information about the committee can be found here.
