Houston City Council Agenda – October 31, 2017
This city will consider the following agenda items at the October 31, 2017, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda covered additional contracts granted to companies to repair roadways and drainage systems and to haul waste in the city of Houston.
19 – Over $350,000 from the Street & Traffic Control and Storm Drainage DDSRF was granted to AECOM Technical Services Inc. This is part of the Street and Traffic Capital Improvement Project to improve roadways and eliminate flooding in the area for Greens Road from Aldine Westfield to John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
20 -Â Over $5 million from the Water and Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund and over $13.8 million from the Street & Traffic Control and Storm Drainage DDSRF was granted to Total Contracting, LTD. They will repair and improve drainage in the area bounded by Woodway to the north, San Felipe Street to the south, South Post Lane to the east, and Chimney Rock to the west.
21 -Â ARA-Abracadabra Septic Pumping LP SWF was granted the right to collect and transport solid and industrial waste from commercial properties within the city of Houston.
