85th Texas Legislature Regular Session, Nov. 28 Update – Prefiled Bills Week 2

These are the bills relating to the environment that were filed the week of November 21, 2016. As of November 28, 447 House Bills and 252 Senate Bills have been filed for the upcoming 2017 legislative session.

House Bills

• HB 445 - Relating to the eligibility of certain property for certain ad valorem tax incentives relating to wind-powered energy devices.
• HB 448 - Relating to the transfer of certain revenue into the state parks account.
• HB 449 - Relating to the applicability of competitive bidding requirements to leases of radio towers and the land under radio towers procured by the Parks and Wildlife Department.
• HJR 36 - Proposing a constitutional amendment providing for the issuance of additional general obligation bonds by the Texas Water Development Board to provide assistance to economically distressed areas.

Senate Bills
