FOR LISTING IN THE COMMUNITY CALENDAR FOR OCTOBER 2012

Members of the Outdoor Nature Club, Woodlands Hiking Club and the Texas Master Naturalists are invited to a special Piney Woods Wildlife Society (PWWS) meeting on Tuesday, October 16. Mary Anne Weber, Education Director for Houston Audubon will present an exciting program entitled “Sky Hunters, A Natural History of Raptors.” Mary Anne will bring live raptors for the audience to meet in person.

The meeting will be held at the Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center at 1300 Riley Fuzzel Road near Old Town Spring. Refreshments will be served at 7 with each group bringing either desserts, sandwiches or appetizers. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited and there is no charge.
