The BIG Mid-Year Meeting will be on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. TCEQ will provide updates on its review of the I-plan (which is still in process) and will share information about TMDL development and adoption in the BIG area and adjacent watersheds upstream of Lake Houston. The BIG will have the opportunity to discuss implementation plans for the new TMDL watersheds upstream of Lake Houston. H-GAC staff will provide an analysis of discharge monitoring reports for bacteria in comparison to permitted bacteria limits. In addition, the BIG will assign charges to the workgroups in preparation for the annual meeting in the spring, discuss the annual report, and share information about implementation.
