Description: The Galveston Bay Foundation’s 2012 Guardian of the Bay Award Luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on October 2, 2012 at the River Oaks Country Club, with keynote speaker, The Honorable James A. Baker, III. The Guardian of the Bay Award honors those who show exceptional leadership in the preservation and enhancement of Galveston Bay. We are proud to announce that our 2012 award recipients are:

Industry – Kirby Corporation
Community – Cynthia and Don Stevenson
Government – U.S. Congressman Gene Green
