Description: Webinar: Youth Can be Environmental Educators Too
Presented by Charles Orgbon, CEO of Greening Forward.
What does youth voice and youth leadership in environmental education really mean? 16-year-old Charles Orgbon, founder and CEO of Greening Forward, shares insight into how environmental educators can help build a pipeline for young people to become environmental problem solvers and educators in their community.
With the right support from adults, our young people can become more than just the leaders of the future, but the leaders of today. This is mindset shift is one that environmental education professionals have to understand in order to have a better perspective of how we reach out to this population that now makes up 75 million Americans.
Questions also concerning how to get young people interested in environmental issues and prepare them for 21 century environmental careers will be addressed.
