Description: Have you wanted to learn winning techniques and strategies for bicycle and pedestrian advocacy? Have you wanted an opportunity to consult with saavy experts who can tell you how to turn your issues into political wins?

The Alliance for Walking & Biking will facilitate Winning Campaigns Training to give both novice and veteran bicycle and pedestrian advocates the skills, strategies and advice they need to kickstart and turbocharge campaigns to improve biking and walking. What better way to kick off your summer than attending the Winning Campaigns Training June 8-10?

Led by longtime advocates and national experts, the training teaches participants how to:
Identify and map the key decision-makers
Craft a persuasive message to rally members and policy makers
Use media outlets to communicate to a broad audience
Become an effective fundraiser
And much more!
Citizens’ Transportation Coalition, along with BikeHouston and Kinder, have invited Alliance staff and consultants to help you create a detailed Campaign Blueprint to chart your path to victory, step by step. But the Winning Campaigns Training is more than a class. It’s a fun, interactive, inspiring experience that fosters collaboration and connection among your region’s advocates. There is also a limited number of scholarships available for this training. To apply, please e-mail Mike@PeoplePoweredMovement.org with the following information: name, organization, reason you are requesting a scholarship. As this training works best when several individuals from an organization attend, priority will be given to organizations that are sending multiple participants to the training. Requests will be considered on a rolling basis and receive a response within four weeks.
