Location Bay Area Community Center (blue roof) in Clear
Lake Park (across street from Clear Lake), 5002 NASA Parkway,
Seabrook 77586. Driving east on NASA Parkway, two stop lights past the Hilton turn left into the
park. If you get to Kirby Drive, you have gone too far.

Speaker is John S. Jacob from the Texas Coastal Watershed Program
(TCWP), which is part of the Texas Grant and Texas Agrilife Extension
Service and provides education and outreach to local governments and
citizens on impacts of land use or watershed health and water quality. John
will also address the recent Texas Supreme Court decision ruling in favor of
two farmers who challenged the Edwards Acquifer authority’s sharp
restrictions regarding well water on their land. He also will address water
desalinsation as an alternate source of water. John will also inspire us to
garden more sensibly.
