Description: The March meeting of the Houston Food Policy Workgroup will be held in San Leon on Galveston Bay to allow rural partners and farmers easier access to the meeting. We are doing this four times a year moving the meetings around the 13 County region to engage rural partners and farmers as much as possible in the Workgroup and foster a spirit of cooperation between various local entities across the region.

The meeting will be held at and lunch will be served by the Topwater Grill. We’ll gather for lunch at noon and the meeting will be held from 12:30 – 2:45pm.

Please note in comments box when you register if you would like a vegetarian lunch or have other dietary needs.

Following the meeting we will go on a tour of Hillman Oysters Docking Facility followed by a Tour and Tasting at Railean Rum distillery.
