Description: On April 25, 2012, please join us at the Eighth Annual Wildlife Center of Texas Golf Tournament. We are planning a fantastic day at the Evergreen Point Golf Club in Baytown, TX. The Golf Tournament is the largest fundraiser that The Wildlife Center of Texas hosts every year.

The Wildlife Center of Texas has responded to over 60 oiled wildlife
emergencies since 1984. Since 1996, the Oiled Wildlife Response Team has provided oiled wildlife response training classes for industry personnel, veterinarians, wildlife rehabilitators and the general public.

Currently, over 250 individuals are trained annually to assist the Oiled Wildlife Response Team during an emergency response. The Wildlife Center of Texas also works closely with veterinarians from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University.

The Wildlife Center of Texas is a nonprofit, donor-supported organization established in response to the increased need for emergency veterinary care for injured, ill, orphaned and oiled native wildlife. One of the largest wildlife rehabilitation centers in the nation, The Wildlife Center of Texas cared for 9,000 wild animals in 2011, representing more than 260 different species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. More than 300 volunteers logging over 20,000 volunteer hours helped care for, rehabilitate and release wildlife.

Will you please join The Wildlife Center of Texas as an underwriter? Our donors’ compassionate commitment to the welfare of wild animals during these hard times is remarkable and noble, and we are grateful for your ongoing support. To be included in the signage at the course and on the website, please print, complete and return the attached [2]response form as soon as possible (deadline is April 11, 2012).

On behalf of the thousands of wild animals saved and released by The Wildlife Center of Texas, thank you for considering this request. Together, we can make a difference for wildlife!
