Description: Join us for the next Environmental Awareness Roundtable as Meredith Dang, Land Use and Transportation Coordinator at H-GAC, presents an overview of this ground-breaking project and tells us how we can get involved.

Some of the goals of this project include:

enriching efforts that support workforce improvements, facilitate job growth and attract new residents, and conserve the natural environment and enhance the built environment, and
enabling the pursuit of federal funding for implementation of transportation, housing, hazard mitigation, and community and economic development projects in the region.

Join us as we learn more about The Houston Galveston Regional Plan and see how our region is approaching current and future opportunities to meet the needs of the diverse communities and residents in a manner that doesn’t compromise the needs of future generations.
