Description: Beginning Bird Identification. Thurs., Jan. 19 & Feb. 16, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Glenn Olsen will conduct this 2-part course designed to entice you to discover the joy and challenge of birding. This fast growing hobby even in urban settings provides an opportunity to get outdoors and reconnect with the beauty and wonder of nature. Classroom and field study comprise the course. Glenn is a local naturalist who also instructs through the Audubon Society and Rice University. Fee for this 2-part class is $65 for TMS members and $74 for non-members.
