Description: Do you know what bird this is? It’s a real puzzler! Turns out it’s an Indigo Bunting/Lazuli Bunting hybrid that was caught at GCBO in October. Robert & Kay puzzled over it for a while but after some research they determined it’s true identity. You just never know what’s going to show up in our nets. Join us from 8:00 until noon on Saturday, January 21th for our next monthly bird banding session. Winter residents have arrived and we have six species of hummingbirds on site! Come see who’s here this winter. This is a great way to get kids excited about wildlife, but all ages are welcome.
