Description: The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, in partnership with the University of Texas-Arlington’s Zero Waste Network, will present a Texas Pollution Prevention Planning program training on December 6 and 7 at the Hilton University of Houston, 4800 Calhoun road, Houston 77204.

This workshop will assist companies with creating and implementing effective, cost-saving pollution prevention plans that comply with the Texas Waste Reduction Policy Act rules. Facilities that are Large Quantity Generators or Small Quantity Generators of hazardous waste or report on the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Form R are subject to these rules. The workshops benefit both large and small companies and are geared toward environmental, health, and safety managers; plant managers; production personnel; engineers; and related professionals.
