Description: Galvestonians its time to sort, sweep, toss, and tidy! The City’s semi-annual citywide clean up is coming up in November. Residents are encouraged to place materials next to their garbage carts by 7AM on the collection days scheduled for their area. Bulk trash collection will be temporarily suspended November 7 – 21.

The City is waiving the fee for residential refuse customers to drop off materials at the Transfer Station for the entire month of November. Residents must present a current City of Galveston water bill confirming they pay for city refuse service as well as a picture ID. Residents must be present at the drop off. The Transfer Station, located at 5515 Harborside, is open 8AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday and 8:00AM – 1:00PM Saturdays.
