Description: Nurture Nature Festival – a FREE family event at the Baytown Nature Center

The annual Nurture Nature Festival returns to the Baytown Nature Center, 6213 Bayway
Drive, on Saturday, November 5, from 10 am to 4 pm. This free family-friendly event
introduces visitors to the reptiles, birds, fish and native plants of the Baytown
area.

With many great outdoor activities scheduled, this event offers plenty for outdoor
enthusiasts of all ages, interests and skill levels. Guest Speakers Clint
Pustejovsky of Texas Snakes & More and Chris Dieter from Crocodile Encounter will
share their expert knowledge about reptiles during presentations at 11:00, 1:00 and
3:00. Meet the stars of their presentation as they bring some of their favorite
reptiles with them. More interested in feathers than scales? Birding tours for all
ages will be offered multiple times during the day.

Exhibitors will be on hand to educate and entertain the public, including the
always-popular staff and volunteers from the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education
Center, who bring live animals and more from their facility. Other participants
include Jesse Jones Nature Center, Texas Wildlife Association, Sea Turtle
Restoration Project, Wildlife Response Services, and local Boy Scout troops.
