Description: The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) invites interested individuals to attend a public meeting to discuss H-GAC’s FY2012/2013 solid waste management activities and grants programs. For FY2012, approximately $600 thousand is available to local political subdivisions (e.g., cities, counties, school districts) to implement local and regional solid waste management projects. The public meeting will be held on September 28, 2011, at 2:00 PM, in Conference Room A. The meeting room is located at the H-GAC offices, 3555 Timmons Lane, 2nd Floor, Houston, Texas, 77027. For those that have attended this meeting in years past, much of the information that will be presented will be the same.
