Description: There will be a double feature this month. First, hear from Bayou Land Conservancy Executive Director Jennifer Lorenz on how they protect the land-water connection. Then, listen to Galveston County Museum Curator Jennifer Marines’ commentary on how Galveston was raised 16 feet following the 1900 hurricane. The video, “Galveston, a City on Stilts” will be shown as part of Marines’ presentation.
