Description: Highland Bayou Public Meeting for all residents and local officials who care about our bayous. This meeting kicks-off a state funded community-based plan to improve the waters of Highland Bayou and others. The planning team is looking forward to hearing from the public their comments, feedback and input about the conditions of bayous. Local residents will have opportunities for long-term engagement on the project. Highland bayou and its tributaries are listed by the State of Texas for high bacteria levels and low oxygen levels. Meeting to be held at the Galveston County AgriLife Extension offices in Carbide Park, La Marque. 4102 B Main St. (FM 519). 6pm-8pm. More information at MoKaBayousAlliance.org.
