Description: What did Texas settlers do for fun? Park visitors of all ages are invited to
participate in hands-on demonstrations of fun activities and enjoy food that
settlers often made. Jones Park staff and volunteers treat guests to samples of
homemade ice cream and fresh watermelon, horseshoes and other old-fashioned games,
and demonstrate some of the daily activities of Texas settlers at the Redbud Hill
Homestead.
