1. Energy 2040: Keeping the Energy Capital Title. The Center For Houston’s Future’s Summer Salon Series continues on July 27th with another round of discussions. The topic is alternative energy. Featured panelists include Arun Banskota, President of NRG Electric Vehicle Services, Robert Harriss, President/CEO of the Houston Advanced Research Center, and Dick Williams, President of Shell WindServices. 2. EcoCamp Openings. Armand Bayou Nature Center has limited openings for the final two weeks of EcoCamp. EcoCamp is a full-day week-long camp for 4th-8th graders. The camp programs are made up of a variety of age appropriate outdoor activities and learning opportunities using the Armand Bayou Nature Center as a living laboratory.
