  1. Texas Bottle Bill. On the last day of the regular session, Rep. Coleman added HB2114, the Texas Bottle Bill, to another bill. The vote in the House was 40 yeas and 101 nays. A list is available here so that you may check how your representative voted.   2. Texas Coastal Expo. The Texas Coastal Expo is happening on June 18th at Moody Gardens in Galveston from 10am-4pm. The event will include interactive marine life exhibits and touch tanks, hands-on educational exhibits, and recreational activities and demonstrations.   3. Sustainable Living Fest. Georgia’s Farm to Market  and Houston Green Scene are hosting a Sustainable Living Fest, to be held June 18, 2011, from 10am-4pm at Georgia’s Farm to Market natural food store and restaurant. The festival will offer information relating to everything from green energy to recycling, preservation, organic gardening, holistic living and more.
