Description: In April, 2011, Harris County adopted the Low Impact Development Design Guide, initially drafted by members of the Houston Land/Water Sustainability Forum based on input gathered from a series of collaborative workshops held during the summer of 2010. These workshops brought together leadership from the local design and development community, local and national leaders in Low Impact Development, and key staff from Harris County and the City of Houston.

On June 14, 2011, Harris County will introduce the adopted Low Impact Development Design Guide and plan to answer questions regarding the use of this document.
