- Galveston FeatherFest. Galveston FeatherFest will be taking place from April 7 – 10. Everyone, whether a novice or expert, is encouraged to explore a variety of habitats, from beaches to bays, bay marshes to wetlands, and coastal prairies to upland wood mottes on a birding adventure. - Texas Coastal Expo. The Texas General Land Office is proud to announce the second annual Texas Coastal Expo, a free family event promoting the economic and environmental importance of our beautiful Texas coast. The event will be held on Saturday, June 18th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the grounds of Moody Gardens in Galveston. This year’s Galveston event expects attendance of 10,000 – 15,000 residents and tourists. Sponsor and exhibitor levels range from $150 to $10,000. Special exhibitor pricing is available to Non-Profits for exhibitor booths. - Seaside Chat – The Hawaiian Connection. There will be a free presentation about the wildlife of Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument in the northwestern Hawaiian Islands. Presenter George Hanks will share his personal experiences from a very special journey to one of America’s Ocean Treasures.
