Description: Television, video games, and a wealth of other indoor activities make it challenging for parents to spark young children’s interest in nature. The Tadpoles program at Jones Park introduces children ages three and four to the great outdoors. Participants learn about a different nature topic each week using short talks, hikes, crafts, and stories. This Tadpoles session is held Wednesdays, May 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. Sorry, no older or younger siblings may attend. Please call the park at (281) 446-8588 for more information. Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, a Harris County Precinct 4 facility under the leadership of Commissioner Jerry Eversole, is located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.
