Description: This special event will please your palate and also raise awareness
of the critical issues facing Galveston Bay Oysters such as protection of
freshwater inflows. In attendance will be honored guest, Dr. Sammy Ray- world-famous Oyster Biologist and Professor Emeritus of Texas A&M University at Galveston, who can share his wealth of knowledge on the subject with you. Tickets for the Oyster Tasting are $50.00 per person which will include an array of appetizers, a one-of-a-kind oyster appellation tasting, and wine and beer. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Galveston Bay Foundation.
