Remember what it was like to play outside all day? Come to Blackwood to remember. Throw sticks. Watch birds. Climb trees. Hide and seek. Name clouds. Get dirty. Bring your lunch and have a picnic.

11am: Explore Blackwood. Walk through the garden. Visit the chickens. Walk the labyrinth. See the treehouse. Watch horses galloping next door. Walk around the pond. Stroll through the trees. Or just sit on the porch and watch everyone else.

Noon: Lay out your blankets and bring your picnic baskets. Or pull up a chair to one of the tables on the porch, and have your lunch there.

After Lunch: Join our visiting guest, Jenne Sluder (musician/singer/dreamer/nature guide/traveler) as she guides us all through activities meant to engage us playfully with the natural world.

A touring singer songwriter, Jenne will be playing her own music throughout the day.
