Description: Your community needs you to know how to build a sustainable chapter and work with other branches, Houston-committees, the chapter board and staff to make their quality of life better.

In this first ever summit you will connect your committee or branch to the chapter’s strategic plan and you will leave with a customized roadmap for your group to use. You will feel confident and prepared in what you are doing with your community and how you can assess your impact in it.

You will learn from each other, network with each other and receive specialized advocacy training from our partners at Environment Texas.

You will have a clear understanding of basic procedures and how to access the chapter resources as you need them.

You’ll also discuss pivotal issues that need to be addressed. You won’t walk out of the room without getting some of the things on your mind settled! You’ll know what’s expected of you by the board and the board will know what you are expecting of them!
